If you’d like to see your business name connected with one of the most prestigious horse trials in the Westcountry, then make sure you buy a lottery ticket.
Following the huge success of last year’s lottery, it’s back again this year.
Two hundred tickets are up for grabs, costing just £100 each, which means those who entered the draw have a 200-1 chance of winning. In betting terms, that’s remarkably short odds when you consider Norton’s Coin won the 1990 Cheltenham Gold Cup at 100-1, Lights of Broadway won at Taunton in 2012 when considered a 200-1 chance.
Three tickets will be drawn to decide the overall title sponsor, who will also name Sunday’s international classes, and day sponsors for Saturday and Friday.
Anyone who sponsors a fence for all three days of the competition will be eligible for a lottery ticket too.
