Visitors to this year’s Nunney International Horse Trials will be able to buy reduced price tickets if they purchase them in advance via the website.

Entry to the event is free to everyone on Friday, with advanced tickets on Saturday and Sunday costing £10 per car per day or £18 for both.

The event has quickly established itself as a must-attend competition in the social diaries of equine enthusiasts with three days of superb competition taking place in the majestic grounds of Southfield House near Frome.

Spectators can see the elegance of dressage, the precision of showjumping and the excitement of cross country. There are also dozens of tradestands selling everything from furniture to paintings and saddlery to clothing. The food corner, selling all types of culinary delights including ice cream, paella, crepes and trusty burgers and chips, is also a popular meeting place.

Organiser Alisa Hunter-Gordon said: “Nunney is firmly becoming established as a must-attend event. It’s the perfect place to meet up with friends, browse the tradestands, eat some really great food and watch all the equine action.

“Entries this year are again very pleasing which is testament to the growing popularity of Nunney.”

The pre-booking offer closes on June 7. Tickets on the day cost £12 per car. Friday is FREE.
